I switched at 30 weeks for conflicts in their schedule for me. Gave me an appointment card then I would show up and be told i have no appointment like really no plus i was misdiagnosed

@kittykatsmeow i had to switch my second pregnancy because they refused a follow up after I was admitted to the hospital after a hit and run. I met an OB that I absolutely loved, but she's 45 minutes away without traffic. This one keeps telling me "that's not normal" but instead of looking into things, they just throw drugs at me. The last straw was being seen twice in a week for heart palpitations and chest pain, super random unusual bruising, increased blood pressure and contractions. They gave me Oxycodone. They're great for routine pregnancy care, but the second something gets complicated, they try to just wash their hands of it.

Like, why is finding a decent doctor so hard 😂

I had a similar phone call with the receptionist at my old ob’s office.

They still claim they didn’t see the hematoma in the ultrasound when my midwife said it was likely there since 7 or so weeks. I can see it on my 13-week ultrasound. I hemorrhaged in the ER just three days later. 🤦🏽‍♀️ She at least wished me good luck before ending the call abruptly. She was probably being sarcastic. I received a bill for $10k from the old office - even though I already stated I’m not delivering with them. I’m still waiting on the corrected bill to come in the mail. Things have been much better at my new doctor’s office.

@lulu85_18 that's awful! I would be sending back a medical malpractice lawyers business card back with that bill. I found out they charge me at least 3x as much since I have insurance. Which is great, sliding scale for affordable care for those who can't get insurance. I, however, should not be paying out of pocket more just because I have insurance. They'll charge my insurance over 300$ and since that s over the allowed amount, I'll get a bill for 1/3. They charged like 650$ for a 5 minute ultrasound to make sure my hematoma healed, then sent me somewhere else for the viability scan. Even though they were the same week.
