Sometimes you have too. Spanks are always a last resort for us and even when I was growing up. But when no’s and time outs aren’t helping and screaming gets you no where. As long as you’re not beating him, he’ll be fine when he wakes up lol

@littleonemorning me too..I just don't wanna be that mom who's popping her kid like that I have seen moms do so before I even became a mom and I hated it,so for now own i will try him in his own "think corner" in his room and no im not beating him lol i just pop his hand or his butt and okay haha he's actually up now running around like nothing even happen

They know what they are doing at that age and if you don’t stop it it get worse at threes

@jerryjrmommy, I totally get it. I always thought unneeded spanking wasn’t called for and actually make kids less likely to listen to you. Time outs do wonders for us! And I think I’ve only had to swat his hand a couple of times because he keeps going for outlets 🙄

But they get over it. And next time he’ll probably think twice about not listening when you say no!
