in my town, the elementary and middle school kids have uniforms and high school you can wear whatever along the lines of dress code. but there's been so much going on with kids not following dress code so 1 out 3 high schools have turned to uniforms.
for kids yes, teenagers no unless they wanna have their tatas hanging out or something.
They say uniforms get kids ready for the real world but really, not anyone but service people wear uniforms. They say that uniforms prevent bullying, but it can still happen, they just choose something else to pick at (sneakers.) they say it keeps kids focused but there isn’t any proof of that. My town tried to implement uniforms this year and the town went nuts saying that it will bring the property value down.
My daughter wears uniforms right now and she will be moving to a different school where she wears regular clothes. In my opinion I think regular clothes will be better BECAUSE it will show her own individuality express herself and so on. But the uniforms helped me with getting her ready so quick in the a.m.
I say yes. Because not everyone has the money to buy their kids the high end clothing like others and that way no kids will feel less than others. Equality... plus it's way less of a hassle trying to figure out what to put on your kids everyday. My son was going to a school where uniforms weren't required and I've seen it with my own eyes little kids bullying another child because she had a a slightly more used pants than them. It was ridiculous to be honest and a very sad thing to see. Now since we moved cities he goes to a school and they require uniforms. Same shirts and all.
Understandable. I feel the same way as well but as long as I fix her hair up nicely and everything she should be okay even at the resale stores too sell good clothes

Okay both good opinions.
