My daughter knows her ABC's and can count now. She just randomly picked it up

My son knows his numbers 1-12 but we haven’t started working on letters yet, even though he sounds out some of his words. We’re working on colors and introducing shapes

Every child is different. My daughter doesn’t know all of her letters or numbers yet. She knows some but, a few in Spanish and others in English. Don’t feel bad. I sometimes feel horrible because my SO’s side of the family has a girl a little older than my daughter to whom they always compare with. Because she speaks English fluently. 🙄

My kids are a little older than yours @shawtypop and they do not know any of the alphabet... They are just learning 1,2,3 and can hold 1 finger up. But they don't even know what it means! If that were my sister I would give her a smart remark back. 🙄 If you and your doctor are happy with where he is then he is perfect!

@breederofboyz, my sister makes me feel like a failure and that there's something wrong with my son because he doesn't know his abcs yet and doesn't have interest in learning them. She compares him to other kids and it pisses me off because my son is SO SMART. He knows how to work the dang tv already and always knows what I'm telling him even things that should

Be out of his comprehension. I work with him on learning them but he just doesn't want to yet🤷🏽‍♀️

My niece knew her ABCs when she was two almost 3 ...

My son tries to sing along with me so I think he might learn them around that time as well

I sing it everyday with him randomly throughout the day .
