I think Isabella might have the start of conjunctivitis, she had loads of gunk in it yesterday so I kept it clean then today it's a little swollen up, I phoned the doctors and they just told me to go to the chemist. It's her left eye mainly, any advise? Should I just keep it clean and if it gets worse get some eye wash from the chemist or try the doctors again?

You can usually buy chloramphenicol eye drops for conjunctivitis from the chemist, but because of her age they usually advise for her to see a doctor I believe. If it is conjunctivitis then she will need the eye drops to clear the infection but keeping it clean with warm water and cotton wool won’t harm it (different cotton wool for each wipe and each eye). And can I just say she has amazing eye lashes! I’m quite jealous! Xx

@hayleyf, thanks, I've cleaned them today and she hasn't had any gunk yet so I'm hoping they'll be ok, I'll see how they are in the morning if not I'll go to the chemist 👍 thanks I am pretty jealous aswell!! 😂xx
