@verguinia, That’s another good idea, communication. Letting her know she let you down will definitely be helpful seeing as she’s young she can begin to understand as well her actions hurt others. I wish you the best of luck with this issue !

@mrscloud_tinycloud sadly it is a habit now because I used to work alot and when I got home she would lie and I never knowtice till now since I stopped working and focus on her more

The 90s kid in me screams give her a good spanking but I know how taboo that is today so all I can possibly think of you have to find a really good punishment. Lying is something you don’t want to promote or have grow into something that becomes a normal for her. So whatever you can think of that she loves or uses on the daily she needs to lose complete access to it. You should also probably set up a week 1 on 1 with her where she HAS to sit with you and empty her backpack. It’s going to make her realize that her actions have consequences & she needs to make sure to take the right ones.

@verguinia, well his dad never follows up with him I tell him everyday I don’t see him do homework but he believes his son not me oh well he fails he fails
