My daughters full name is Aubrionna Ann and ppl think that's to long and confusing her but I love it..she my child and it's my choose

@proudmamaoffour09131417 thank you I thought so to and she could be called nova for short! She thinks since out last name fountain is long that she would have a hard time writing her full name. I told her schools let you use short names like Sam instead of Samantha etc.

@proudmamaoffour09131417 granted we are trying for our second child at the end of may after we move next month and get settled so it might end up being a boy. We are hoping it ends up being a girl though.

I love it! My daughters name is Nova Raine and I almost went with Novalee for the first name but changed my mind cause I dont do nicknames and just stuck with Nova as the first name. I think Novalyn is cute!

@twistedrenots I love the name Nova I just think its so cute. I wanted to incorporate my sisters middle name (Lynn) with it because my sister is my best friend so I thought of Novalyn. I could just do Nova Lynn or Nova Serenity but I feel like Novalyn is cute with a little twist. My husband likes it but he also really likes Sona for a girl.

@aylenrose I think it's cute 😊 there are no rules for naming your babies 😊 like you said above, her name could be long but she could just go by Nova for short but still have the name you wanted her to have.

@twistedrenots yes! I've seen plenty of people go by the short versions on their name all the time. By the time she would have to write her full legal name for something she would definitely be old enough to know how to spell and understand it.

@mommabear1014 thank you ❤ your name is pretty! Mine isn't the shortest name either Kayleigh Lorayne and I've managed just fine lol I just think Novalyn Serenity is all kinds of pretty. Sometimes when I mention the name people look at me like its weird but hey they did the same when we named our son Wynter.

@aylenrose, yours is pretty too and I think both names are very unique but definitely not weird. Love them!
