Any tips on getting my son to sleep in his own bed? He’s only slept one night entirely in his own…

literally dealing with the same thing right now! 😭 my son wakes up close to every night asking if he can get into my bed and I've been saying no but he always ends up next to me lol ugh

@sjo1, same! I thought that putting him in his own room would sped the process up for when it did happen but I’m honestly considering moving his bed in here.. I really don’t want to back track though.. I would love it if he’d just be content sleeping in his own spacious little bed 😩 my dream would be for that to happen BEFORE the baby gets here.

@babyjjsmommy yeah it's really hard! I've put his bed in my room and it was a fail for me, he still wakes up crying about it. I feel so bad for him and end up always giving in to letting him sleep with me lol

@sjo1, that’s how I am, because I don’t feel like fighting for hours for nothing. But then again, I also know that deep down that’s probably what I’ll have to end up doing. Literally after 5 seconds of being in my bed he’s out.

@babyjjsmommy my child is always up at like 3 am crying because he wants to sleep with me! It's the worst, I'm tired I have about 2 more hrs to sleep and I don't wanna hear it honestly lol :(

@sjo1, I Totally feel you. Especially when I have to get up early af, I just put him in bed with me bc I need the sleep

@babyjjsmommy that's how I am too! I just end up giving into him sleeping with me because my bf is up at 5 I'm up at 6 and I'm already tired when I'm up so I just spare the fighting and whining of getting him back into his bed. I really hope it gets easier for you! it's such a tough spot to be in 😔

My son was fully sleeping in his own bed In his own room every single night until I had gotten pregnant. And now that my daughter sleeps with us he wants to sleep with us too!

Going through the same process with my daughter. I'm getting results.🤗Be consistent and let them take naps on there bed. Hope this helps:)
