I had paramedics come to the house only to tell me my contractions had to last 3 hours or more to go into hospital and to phone the hospital if they do and that if I feel the need to push definitely call them so I just got given paracetamol told to go for a bath and see if my contractions fizzled out as I could be in very early stages 😭😭 they've gotten better with paracetamol 😣😣

@mamaofzuri mine were 2-3 minutes but still got told to stay home 🤷♀️ they've fizzled out and aren't as bad or as close. I think it's because my local hospital is packed and doing diversions to another hospital which is also short on beds so they're trying to keep people away longer 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I've always been told that once they're 4-5 minutes apart and last over 1 minute you need to go in, hood things speed up for you Hun xx

@linkofhyrule, just try to relax, take a long walk, bounce on the ball, have a relaxing bath, once your body is calm and relaxed it'll be easier for baby to come, get as much sleep as you can, it does happen that if your body is overtired your contractions can stop xx

@gabilicious I was pretty tired last night and was starving so probably didn't help that much

@linkofhyrule, definitely just try to be patient I know it's hard but baby will come out

I stayed in at home for 12 hours before going in as apparently being at home in a relaxing environment is best way to manage your contractions. Also didn’t want be sent home. It worked out really well as when I went to the hosp I was 6cm and gave birth 6 hours later. The good thing was the OH was with me all the time for massage and running the bath and stuff.
