Can someone please advise me on which way is best to breastfeed some people tell me to use both per feed and midwife and hv say one Breast per feed. I had this with my son and ended up giving up but I really want to breastfeed Skylar. Last night she just didn’t seem content, I know this happens but really got upset that I’m failing. My other half is brilliant and really encouraging he helps me get comfortable and in position. Thank you ladies

I had tuns of milk, so I only offered one at a time. I was feeding on demand, so sometimes she would have a little suck, then do something for 15 minutes and demand again, then I still offered the first one, so that she would finish it.
I think it just depends on how much milk you feel you are producing and how often the baby eats. If you fed from one for 20 minutes and she seems hungry when she lets go of the breast,I would offer the other one. Good luck! Breastfeeding is tough, but it's worth it!
@suzannehornsey that's understandable, both my babies had fed different though so don't think your first experience will be the only type you'll have with breastfeeding! 😊

Hi with Dahlia I always feed off one and if she unlatches from the first breast then I offer the other breast. Upto her really if she wants it or not, beauty of breastfeeding is the baby just takes what they need.

Its one breast per feed...at least 20-25 mins. If baby still seems hungry after that then switch to the other side. :) Still breast feeding my 2 year old...so any questions..feel free to ask me hun xxx
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Breast feeding is a full time job I really want to give up already 😢

I really really hate the fact that I got stretch marks on my boobs. And it kinda bothers me when mommas tell me they are something to be proud of because it's my baby tattoos or my proof I was growing a miracle...I'm pretty sure once my son is in this world with me HE will be the proof I grew a miracle inside me. I know they try to make me feel better about it but there really is nothing beautiful about stretch marks! No matter how you put it.
I am sick to death of my in laws telling me how fat Scarlett is, and asking me what I feed her! Does she look fat to you? No!
