Can Dr's really make you wait until your 18th week to see baby's gender?

I found out at 20 weeks. Almost 21 weeks

I paid for a screening at a local ultrasound tech place. They do gender reveals and early sneak peeks for eager mommies like myself. It was $75 and I found out my son was a boy at 15/16weeks

I found out with both of my pregnancies way before 18 weeks through genetic testing but I've heard that some places charge you for that.

My insurance company cover all cost so you should definitely check with your insurance company and see if they'll cover yours as well.

Female parts can be swollen and look like male parts till 20 weeks you can do blood work but it can be expensive

Most make you wait. My doctor made me get the blood testing so i found out at 14weeks
