Has anyone had VBAC? How far apart from your c section? I will be having my baby 18months from my c section one dr told me I need to have a c section because it's to early to try to push and my cut may not be healed another dr told me that's not true and I should try now I'm totally confused any advice?

Any 1st time moms who had a c-section? My due date is Wednesday. At my Dr appt today, my Dr said I'm not dilated at all. My baby has been measuring big all along, and my Dr now estimates he is about 9.5lbs and doesn't think I can deliver him naturally... so she scheduled me for a c-section on Thursday. This is my 1st baby, and I really don't know how to feel about it all.
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
