Because regardless of him not having a job his kids still need to be supported, if I lost my job i would have to find a way to support my children.

I'm sorry that's happening to you, it happened to my uncle when he tried to contact his kids from his first marriage and now he owes back pay. of my uncle doesn't lay it they could prosecute him I honestly don't know how it works everywhere else ,I can see how that can put a burden on anyone to be honest. is there a number you can call to talk to them about it?

@itsmely, they want him to go to court he don’t have the money for a lawyer I mean like I told the other girl above she’s a low life and expects everything handed to her he has never missed any child support half his check goes to her now he lost his job not even three days later they asking for money that’s not due yet

@lydia09876 I think maybe if you guys don't fight? it she might be able to keep doing that, cause I know if you don't regardless they will turn it on him. I really hope you can find a solution

That is true. He should go for shared custody that way he doesnt have to pay but he keeps them more often.

He just needs to go to court and ask for a modification. He pays 40% of his income how many kids does he have with the other girl? And how many kids are biological his with you? That is a high percent.

U just need to modify the court order. Go back to court and let them know he isn't working. My husband's ex did that and got out of child support. Then she got a minimum wage job with barely no hours and they ordered her to pay the minimum of $75....but she never did. You'll be fine. Can't pay 40% of nothing

@beemommyof3, we get them every other weekend the entire summer Christmas break and spring break and still pay her while they here and feed and clothes them while they here she won’t buy them clothes which the child support

@beemommyof3, makes me mad because I was working then when we had our third child I stay at home now he can barley keep us up because of that which I understand he has to many kids but at the time we paid for everything no food stamps no Medicaid nothing and we paid for their insurance

Every time my ex quits his job it keeps adding arrears and he has to pay more each month when he gets behind. You'll have to go to court to get it modified
