If I were you, I'd just ignore and move on. While maybe you'd want to know if it was you, a lot of people in relationships don't give a fuck about stuff like that or do too much and react inappropriately and maybe put the blame on you. Plus your mom is involved in a way and you don't want to put any drama on her over a friend request so i would just forget it happened and act like it's none of your business
