so mf mad man....been waitin to see doc for 2 fucking hours....then a old lady walk in and immediately get seen like wtf…

Im assuming that you guys are seeing different doctors since she was seen right away

So I completely understand being mad, but having worked at a doctors office please understand many things could be going on!

The doctor could’ve been super late himself for whatever reason, he could’ve had an emergency patient, computer systems down, your insurance giving them problems... I promise that the office hates being “behind” much more than you do! And actually no matter what the problems is... I PROMISE you that they all (including the doctor) are going to get bitched at by the office manager later today.

And the lady walking in could be seeing another physician if there is more than one doctor or even NP or PA in the office alongside the DO

Were you late by chance? Cause I know some offices will make you wait into another spot opens up..

@beemommyof3 naw she is seeing the same ob as me cause she went on thr same door.the office is split in two.one side is ob and the other is everybody else.

@candacelouise i understand all that...but that dont make me feel np better.i had to go threaten to reschedule and leave...then all of a sudden they call my name...im pissed

@lana2018 like I said, you never know what happened. I’ve been that patient who needed the doctor because I was literally dying .. and all I can say is I hope those patients who needed him in the office.. (who were healthy enough to be waiting) were understanding and realized how serious it has to be for a doctor to take that much time away from his office hours/patients.

Once that happened go me and it was because the lady at the counter never actually checked me in! She told them I was a no-show! Crossed my name off the sign-in sheet, along with the girl who came in after me. We finally got up and we're like "What's the problem?" And suddenly we were called back. The nurses were pissed! (At my office for prenatal appointments they never called you up to the counter, just called you back)

@johnsonarriel24, she told the nurses she had actually been about to call us, and ask where we were. I kinda wish I had waited a few minutes to get that call "Uh, I'm sitting on front of you where I've been for quite some time."
