My baby is 9 months and she stopped nursing around 2 months so I have to pump since then. I read some articles about the “tongue tie” today. I was just worrying if my daughter has one? Does any of you face with tongue tie?

She seems better now but I already went 8 weeks dealing with the pain so not sure if it helped or not really.

Yes she did have surgery when she was 8 weeks. It depends on the severity of the tongue/lip tie. Some are simple snip in the office and others need more intervention. Hers was severe and required cutting muscle and anesthesia. It took a while to recover.

Sorry for asking a lot of questions, I am just worried now. Did your kid have any operation? And you feel any difference after operation?

Some dont. Mine didnt see it. My lactation consultant found it. You can try but I would still take her to a preferred provider to be evaluated and treated. They specialize in it.

Yes. My daughter has tongue and lip tie. Take her to a dentist or preferred provider. Even an LC can diagnose it.
