For split parents, how do you go about paying medical bills for your children? It's never really been discussed. I've had to pay co pays and I just had to pay a bill for my son and his father has never paid for any of them. I think it'd only be fair that he pay half even if it is a small bill? Like why should it just be me solely responsible?

He’s suppose to pay half n if you have him on child support you can give the bills to child support n they will add it to it

@lovelyjane, he pays child support. How do I send it to them? I figured he should have to pay half. I'm going to tell him. He's probably not going to want to help but wtf. Typically there are no bills for my son or co pays but once in awhile there are.

@morgyporgypudninpie, it's not in our agreement but he is on his health insurance. He mentioned one time we would figure out medical bills when it came about that was that. So idk. I guess I just have to say something to him.

@missjess, make an apt with child support they with make copies of the bills and add them to the sum of child support but in its own category
