Diabetic Mommas

Who was induced at 38w?

Did baby need nicu time?

How'd your induction go?

Really? Maybe it’s a possibility that can happen I mean if they do take him it can turn for the best and he won’t need the cpap for long which is an oxygen machine my daughter was born at 35 weeks and she only needed it for a few hours then was off

@mimimommyof2 I'm being induced at exactly 38w. But they keep saying his lungs will be under developed because I'm diabetic. Not just gestational. So it has me worried

I was at 39 and no he didn’t it all depends on baby to be honest if they do go it would probably be for less than a day only for monitoring and my induction wasn’t bad at all the only thing was the obvious pain but after that it was a great experience

@rae.smith8907, every induction is so different! 😘 you might be golden but it will most likely take at LEAST one day

I was induced at 38 weeks with 2 of my girls. The first one was smooth sailing. No nicu. The second one she did have to go to the nicu for a few days because she swallowed fluid on her way out.

@zachattackmomma hmm. I am 2cm now. I go in on Valentine's day to have him. I'm kinda hoping for a slow labor.. I don't want to have him on the 14th.

4 day induction, ended in c section. He was only in nicu for a few hours for observation. Basically by the time I was in my room he was in with me
