I don’t see how people can get doctors appointments so early on , They told me I had to wait until at least 7-8 weeks to be seen . Was that normal procedures? Found out I was pregnant around 5 Weeks , tried going to the doctor right away they said I was to early to be seen 🤷🏽♀️ Had my first doctors appointment at 9 Weeks & had a ultrasound done to confirm.

That's the norm around 7w. Some doctors are different idk. Just disappointing before 7W lol

It must depend on the doctor or maybe if they're high risk, my doctor made me wait til I was 8 weeks for an appointment

Yup. Very true I thought I was about 9 weeks when I went in because I couldn’t remember my period. The sonogram confirmed I was pregnant, but only 7 weeks. They still found a heartbeat though. 😁 Before 7 weeks, they can’t really get a reading on the Doppler and the fetus is so small on the sonogram.

If you are seeing an endocrinologist for fertility reasons you go in early for them to check your levels and make sure everything is progressing properly. Some might need progesterone support at the beginning for example, that’s quite common with fertility treatments 👍🏻

I get doctors appointment right away, but only because i had a tubal reversal. They have to make sure it is in the correct spot, since i have a higher probability of having a tubal pregnancy. Once they confirmed they see me after 8 -10 weeks.

I found out I was pregnant when I was 4weeks and wasn’t seen until I was 8 weeks
