If you have a 1 year old, do you lay them down for naps or how do you do it?

I just carry him in his room lay him down and say go night night and leave shut the door and he goes to sleep

We have a set schedule of nap time ect. So when I lay my son down he curls up and goes right to bed. Some days are not that easy

My daughter is 1year and 2months old, if I try to get her to take a nap she fights it alot, I've gotten to the point where I don't make her take one. The only thing I try to keep on a schedule is when she needs to eat, and otherwise I just let her play and she grabs her sippy cup her cuddle shirt and lays herself down for a nap when she's ready. Found it's easier that trying to fight with her to take a nap

I rock him to sleep and lay him down. He’ll be 1 on the 21st. Last night before bed I tried rocking him to sleep and he just laid there staring st me and every time I’d think he was falling asleep a little hand would reach up and smack me so I put him in his crib and left the room and he cried for like 2 mins and fell asleep lol

I rocked my son to sleep all the time or laid down with him. It was hard when I started laying him down on his own because that is what he was so used to. He would scream bloody murder. So this time with my 5 month I started to lay him down on his own sooner and it is going great I actually just put him down for a nap and he went straight to sleep.

I put my girl to sleep and then lay her down.

See I get him to sleep and then lay him down, if I try laying him down on his own he will scream and cry n won’t sleep
