Felicity is doing something that's weirding me out. Maybe someone can offer advice, but if you can't say anything nice, then please keep scrolling. When she sleeps, she claws her face and scratches it up. Her forehead looks like she scraped it up over concrete, that's how bad it is. Her nails are being cut and I don't know what she could be stressed about. She's in a good environment with her family, and everyone loves on her day and night. It just randomly started happening maybe a week ago. Initially it was her eczema, which I put baby eczema cream on it everyday......but now she's clawing herself crazily. And it's only when she sleeps......

I'm sorry mama, my little one has started rubbing her eyes and face alot due to early teething and catches her face with her nails sometimes too, maybe shes trying to do that but ends up scratching herself with her nails more because she's asleep? Just a thought. Have you tried putting mittens on her when she sleeps

I’m pretty sure it’s normal. My oldest did it. My youngest didn’t. Try putting socks on her hands when she goes to bed.

My son does that ive started having to cut his nails once or twice a week. He does it because of his eczema, I think, even when it is clear. But it's only during his night sleeps, we tried putting socks on his hands but he didn't like it, so we just stay on top of cutting his nails

My son does it too, i thought it was his ecezma but i think it's more of a comfort thing. Along with pulling his hair, don't see how either are comforting it's just what I've read

My babies do it. And they scratch eachother. I'm pretty sure it's a normal baby thing. I always say Kai looks like he's been scrappin with a cat lol

I wouldn't worry too much cause even though it seems weird she's not the only one that does it. My son use to do it to his stomach and chest but I think it was mainly when he got hot. So I didn't layer him as much and still dnt now. I mix some hydrocortisone with his lotion r cream to help with the itching. Good luck! Hopefully the socks r mittens will help. I also had to check his finger nails every other day cause they seem to grow too fast

She could be itching still when she is sleep but you don't want to put stuff on her forehead and then she touches it and gets it in her eye. But if it wasn't normal they wouldn't make those baby mittens that come in every baby set to prevent babies from doing this. Just get a few of those and out them on her hands at bed time.

Isabella does it a lot. Doing it about 2 months already, she has a little bit of eczema behind her ear so she first started with always scratching at that and sometimes she scratches at her face and behind her head. Dr said it’s probably a comfort thing or their skin is just a bit dry so they like to scratch at it but idk 😩🤷🏻♀️
