@ccancilla3 yes i did at 37 and a half weeks i was 3 cms and the nurse did a membrane sweep i usually have fast labors but the shots slow down contractions. The contractions were nothing compared to my 4 previous labors im guessing from the shots.
@preciouslove, so a longer labor .. I’ve been having contractions and a lot of pelvic pain .. I’m exhausted and I’m huge or maybe I feel that way .. my last shot I’ll be 35 and 4 .. what about you when was your last shot ? And that’s what I’m kind of nervous about long labor with my section that’s dangerous
@ccancilla3 are u getting a c section again? My last shot was at 34 weeks because i had a cerclage as well. I always had a horrible pressure since I was like 30 weeks and some contractions but nothing really bad. Labor was easy tho if that makes u feel better once my water broke it sped things up but the begining i was progressing so slowly. I have been reading about the shots and I read took some girls till they were 38 or 39 weeks to go into labor because it stops contractions but then I also read it only takes eight days to get out of your system which I don't really believe because it obviously still slow down my contractions and really lessened them.
@preciouslove, yeah nine days after a missed shot .. my Obgyn wants me to go for a vbac which is fine they already have my section date if she doesn’t come one her own .. he also told me this injection isn’t that good for us to stay pregnant for long if your body is ready

@preciouslove, last pregnancy too but she was breech so I went for a section .. did you have your baby natural .. I mean go in to labor spontaneously

@preciouslove, my cervix is long .. no meaning that it won’t stop your body from going in to labor if your no longer on them
