When you are negotiating to buy a house, put in as a request for the seller to have the house professionally cleaned!
We just bought our house, haven’t been able to move fully in because the seller left a ton of junk and swept some stuff into piles, but other rooms left ALL the dirt and gross mats, and a hat, and ear plugs on the ground..... And tons of other shit...
So I wore a mask while I swept shit into a pile then vacuumed the piles up... I need to do the kitchen, down stairs bathroom, play room and storage room, plus the laundry room.... I’m freaking beat. Wearing the mask makes me hot as hell....

Yes, this is something i kept in mind since having our house since the summer, i totally agree with you on this.

@denisse.m, it’s something no one told me, and they left a bunch of nasty stuff..... And I still have to clean our rental house to get our deposit back. AND I’m 36 weeks pregnant!!!!! So I’m dying every time I have to go up or down the stairs and I’m just tired AF...

They didn’t clean it!? When I sold my house I got it professionally cleaned and it wasn’t even in the contract. People have no decency

@sadiesue0718, I was 5 months pregnant when we got our house and it was bad from all the cleaning and running around, it took me four days with the help of my mother in law to get the house cleaned how it needed to be.

@amouryaya09, Nope!!! Left a BUNCH of junk..... A cat box that was used and half frozen was left outside, cat hair everywhere and both hubby and I are allergic to cats dander/hair (not sure which one gets us going, but it sets our allergies off). And the worst part was they didn’t clean up the mouse poop in the basement...... So again, MASK....

@denisse.m, yea... My mom did most of the kitchen today, but nagged me the whole time....
I’ve been at it for 2 days so far.... We also bug bombed, so I’ve been extra careful. We’ve only had the house since this last Friday.

@sadiesue0718, we did the same also we even got an inspector to check for termites you just never know how a days what the house has been through. We had dog hair everywhere in each room there was even some inside the refrigerator and inside washing machine. And dust everywhere

@amouryaya09, Yea I’m pretty pissed.... My relator wasn’t who listed the house.... So I would need to talk to someone I’ve never met about it and is just the middle man.

@sadiesue0718, I was saying their realtor. But my really good friends with realtor I used so she would have definitely called them about their client. That’s sad you have to clean an entire house while pregnant!
