Do you have a job? If you do try buying a little at a time & if you haven't apply for Medicaid for yourself as well as WIC program it will help you with extra food. If you don't have a job, they're might be resources at your nearest planned parent hood as far as getting help with baby things. A baby is definitely expensive BUT such a blessing! @sjo1, I do have a job but it is currently part time minimum wage I am working on trying to secure a nanny job since I previously have experience in child care but I currently cannot bring my baby into my current living situation so I am also in need of finding a new home! 🙏🏼😭 I am working on applying for WIC and SNAP and currently have health insurance under my parents coverage but do not know what type of pregnancy coverage is provided and don't know whether my mother will continue to keep me on her plan if I continue this pregnancy, I am staying as optimistic as possible I know I face great challenges and currently the odds are stacked against me but I know everything will find a way to work out just as it is supposed to and trust in myself and my abilities to adapt and know I am already invested in motherhood enough to push myself through any obstacles that come!! It is a terrifying thought but also something I have never been more sure of!! Thank you for your kind words they mean more now than you may know♥️

Oh that's too bad! If you're pregnant you can also try applying for a low income apartment, there's tons of resources to help single minimum wage mother's. I've never had to be one thankfully but working in that assistance department I definitely know you have many options. You're very right. Things will workout for you and your baby! ❤ good luck girly

Being a young mom is so hard I’m not going to lie but it’s the most rewarding best experience you’ll ever have! I wasn’t financially ready for my son either but luckily I had support & some help from my mom & my boyfriends mom! Snap & wic have been a really big blessing & if you look around in your area there should be places that help mothers out with stuff you’ll need for the baby. Just take it day by day & I’m sure things will start looking up for you! You got this❤️

Its hard. i was 19 and in college with my first. as long as you have a suport group like parents,friends or SO it makes it alot easier. I would get on medicaid asap because it takes forever to get on it and it will help with most or all bills. i would also do wic. it helps save on food and when baby is here they help with formula if you formula feed.
