Needing some advice or words of encouragement : today i went to the doctor for my first appointment. They drew blood & did an ultrasound. My HCG levels are rising but the ultrasound shows an empty sac. I’ve been to the ER three times prior to today, all the same thing. The doctor is saying either it’s a failed pregnancy, abnormal pregnancy or it’s too early. I’m hurting & confused but don’t want to stress. I got back Friday because my aren’t rising like they should.

That is really high to only be seeing a sack is the only "issue" I see. Just wait and give it time
@brandyswanson51, they didn’t mention that at all. When i first got there, he said when carrying multiple babies this could happen but when my levels came back everything changed
An egtopic pregnancy is when the egg fertilizes in the tubes instead of moving to the womb itself. It can cause a lot of pain and won't show on an ultrasound if the are looking in the womb and not checking the tubes and can be bad.
It wouldn't be ectopic if the sack implanted in the uterus. What was your most recent hcg
Maybe it’s a chemical pregnancy. A chemical pregnancy happens before ultrasounds can detect a fetus, but not too early for a pregnancy test to detect levels of hcg. Instead of the hormone rising as the pregnancy goes on, it drops because you’re having miscarriage. I hope that isn’t it though.
