So both babies and I all have a terrible cough. Sora refussed to take meds without throwing them up immediately. If anyone has any idea on how to get the meds down without her knowing if love some ideas thanks

@jmw24815 the only Tylenol I've found around here is grape. And the other medicine is prescribed to them so I'm not sure.
@jmw24815 coughing, sneezing, runny nose. They have allergies and someone brought a cold over so I'm not sure which it is
I put the medicine in my daughter's bottle. Works like a charm. Her pediatrician actually recommended that I put the medicine in her bottle since she would do the samething as your daughter.
Yes it does suck and I hate to see babies and toddlers suffer it breaks my heart. @twinmomma2b I am the same way so I can't take liquid medicine. I wish she can take it another way. The only thing I say is either hold her nose when you give it too her so she can swollow it or blow on her face
@twinmomma2b, oh no 🤦🏾♀️ 🤔hmmm Well what flavor medicine do you have?
@shay25 it sucks. When she does take it she will gag until she pukes it back up. She refuses to keep any meds down. Cough, allergy, or her Tylenol for when she has a fever
@jmw24815 yeah... that ended so bad 😷 let's just say I don't have good reflexes lol my hair was a mess
My 3 year old hates taking medicine once its in his mouth he spits it right back out. And I hate holding him down and forcing the syringe down his throat
@twinmomma2b, have you tried shooting it to the back of their throats with the medicine syringe?
@jmw24815 they dont like anything cold unfortunately 😣 I was thinking about putting it in their bottle but I'm worried it'll make them not like their bottles or if they don't drink it it'll ruin her expensive formula lol I've tried the pacifier thing and she won't even suck on it. I've tried giving her a bottle and putting the meds in alittle at a time while she is drinking. She will take a few drops and then make herself gag until she throws up. She is terrible when it comes to medicine
Or chase the medicine down with something they like or haven’t had that you think they’ll like, like juice or a favorite snack
Try freezing the dose in an ice cube tray and cover it with foil and add popsicle sticks? Maybe if they think the medicine is a lollipop or popsicle they’ll keep it down.
@twinmomma2b, I’ll see if I can figure something out
