This morning I asked my mother in law if she could watch my daughter for me for a couple hours…
This morning I asked my mother in law if she could watch my daughter for me for a couple hours around 6. I told her I needed to pick up some money downtown. She says yes. I start getting ready around 5. A little later she says something about how she wants to drive me down there. I tell her it's fine I would like some alone time. When I'm about to leave she takes her son and leaves. She says she's going to be right back. I'm waiting and waiting I text her she says she's picking up her daughter. 2 hours later her daughter comes in and asks me if I'm ready. Ready to go where? I ask her where her mom is she says she's in the car. Her daughter leaves and her mom calls me. Ask me what I'm doing. She ask me why I'm not coming I tell her it's too late for me to go. She then asks me if I'm planing on still going out. I say no. She says she's going out that she'll be back later. She still isn't back. Why does she feel like she gets to control the shit I do. If you didn't want to watch my daughter you should have said something. I could have found someone else. Because she chose to be like that I missed out on a lot of money. How could she be so ignorant like that. I already told her I didn't need the ride. That I didn't want her driving me because I wanted to go out on my own. I get I'm a teen mom but that doesn't mean you get to control me.

You kno how to handle that.....dont ask her for ANYTHING ELSE. Not even a nickel if ur short. You KNO she is not dependable nor is she considerate of you. So if you give her the opportunity to make you miss an opportunity like this again...you can only blame the person in the mirror. I am so sorry that happened to ya.

@sarahdonna-marie, I put money in her pocket not vide versa. When I asked her she could have said no. It would have been better that way so I could have found someone else. I've been stuck in this house taking care of my daughter. Wanting to leave and go out alone isn't wrong.

@toshagager1988, that's how she was with me. We get along so well this is new behaviour. Except for her wanting me to switch my daughter to formula

Oh boy. Hun nip it in the butt asap. Let her you respect her wisdom but you are an individual and shouldn't have to explain yourself especially if you emphasized time alone. It's not mean or selfish it's you taking time out for you. Maybe it ain't clicking with her so you need to sit down with her or call her as a mother young woman and let her know as I stated above and proceed to tell her you would like to spend time with her too but you shouldn't feel guilty or less than human especially because of your age.
