Even if there is a change in what you've planned, don't let hospital staff 'bully' you into doing something that seems too extra. I was way to soft about a lot of stuff that looking back I regret now. I didn't even get to change her first diaper. And if they stand over you and make you feel like they are judging your every movement, you can ask them for privacy.
