February 23rd my mom will have been gone for 10 years. 😧 it’s crazy to think about it because somedays I feel like I just talked to her. Other days I have trouble remembering her voice, her scent, her hugs. My heart breaks knowing my daughter will never get to meet her. Never feel the comfort of her embrace. My biggest fear is to leave this earth before my time, not because I fear death but because I never want to leave a gaping hole in my daughters heart that may shrink over time, but never fill.
