@danisfirstbaby.2018, My baby daddy and I got into a huge fight and now we’re done with each other and he’s been threatening to take the baby away from me and no, I am definitely not okay.
@mixedmomma2018 well one thing I do know is he can't take the baby away from you. He has no grounds. No reason to believe you'd be unfit he's just being a complete ass. No one is going to take him seriously. These are crucial weeks and months though so don't let his negativity stress you too much. Does he seem like the type to remain in the childs life even if he's not in a relationship with you? Do you have a support system, people who you can talk to?
@danisfirstbaby.2018, I believe I am a fit parent. I have mental health issues but that won’t stop me from being the best mother I can be. He doesn’t have a job right now or a stable place to provide for a baby and he won’t for a while. He fucking using my money and I pay for our phone bill. He has nothing. I’ve been the one providing for me with the SSI money I get. I can’t get a job but that doesn’t mean that I’ll be unfit. He’s lazy. And yes he’s being a complete ass. And I’m really trying not to... but it’s hard. I just need to get away from him. And no, he doesn’t seem like the type at all. He’s over here getting mad because my friends are messaging him, telling him he is going to have a baby and that he needs to step up and he literally is getting so mad about it because I’m telling people our business. And by getting so mad I mean that he wants them to come over to our place so he can beat them up... I don’t want that around my child.
@mixedmomma2018 so, on the brightside I also have mental health issues so I can totally vouch for the fact that we will have bad days but we won't be unfit. He's talking out his ass if you're doing all the providing and paying for everything no matter how many mental illnesses you have they have programs where if you really feel like your having a bad mental health day and you have no friends or family to help they will send someone to help with your baby. He needs to get his head from so deep out of his ass that he can't see it's time to be a big boy, get a job and help provide for that child. If he can't do that you really don't need him around that baby. You can't fight multiple people telling you to grow up when it's true. I am so sorry you are going through that but talk to the county and learn about all the programs available to you. WIC will give you checks for food for you and your baby because you get SSI. There are so many ways you'll be able to provide for that child. If he isn't planning on being a father tell yourself everyday you will manage without him because you def will.
The same day I got a paper proving I was pregnant WIC approved me because I get EBT and had checks in my hand within the hour for fruits and veggies and milk.
