@loving_the_mommy_life, Well your superior is obligated to watch the security tape (if your job has cameras on the registers) and show you that footage, if they don’t, you need to ask to see it otherwise they can’t technically fire you. I was an administrative clerk for Lowe’s years back and we always had to do that stuff.
It’s also whom ever counts the money before it’s picked up that is responsible for finding out why it’s short, if there are any other registers over that much in the same place then it will counter and you will be fine.
@eponetha we do have cameras on the register... She just had said that if it wouldn't come out from the safe at night when they counted it then she would have to write me up.. I have to call in the morning to see if it came out or what not..
@loving_the_mommy_life, yeah, she can say that all she wants but you have a right to fight the write up and not sign, if you sign it, you are admitting that you did wrong. You can ask for further investigation on the matter because you know that you didn’t do anything wrong.

@eponetha yup your right I am sure I would be able to find another job but I know if I get fired or whatever the store wouldn't make it without me because she only has me and another employee and she has one assist manager anyone she hires does not last and is not going to do the job I do the way I do it... I have worked doubles have gone when she don't have no one else I go in when she has called me on my day off but oh well let's see what happens tomorrow....
