Hey mummies.. Sorry to be going into too much detail but how long did any of you mums wait to have…

I waited around 10 weeks, my scar opened up slightly a few times so just waited a while to be sure its was healed okay and that i was comfortable ☺ x

They advise to wait 6 weeks..until your check up...then after then its up to you xx

@abbiiqx, did it open up because of sex or just opened up itself? Xx

@lauren-goodman aw just its self, i moved to quick and did to much to soon so the sides would split. But nothing happened when having sex, its so nerve racking first time but it was fine just take your time ☺xx

@abbiiqx, I felt fine after a week and probably have done too much since then 🙈maybe I should be more careful lol. Did you have to get stitched back up xx

Aw its hard not isnt it? All the mummy duties lol. Nope just had to keep it clean and dry and take my time doing stuff. Healed pretty quickly after that to be fair. ☺ xx @lauren-goodman

I waited till I stopped bleeding which was about 6 weeks. I was so nervous though!

@kayteamay, I'm a nervous wreck cause I know it will eventually happen but so scared my scar will come open 🙈x

@lauren-goodman how long ago was your section? Its very unlikely it will come open but you cant help bit think it will. I had mine 4 months ago and it still hurts and itches a lot

@kayteamay, I had it 4 weeks ago. It doesn't really hurt no more and the midwife had said it's healing nicely x

Its amazing how quickly it heals. Mine just looks like a red line now. Id say give it another 2 weeks and youd be good to go (if you have the energy!) 😂

@kayteamay, I feel fine. Sometimes forget I've had a section 🙈hopefully all is good and it's just normal aha xx

@lauren-goodman They advise to wait 6 weeks because your body has been through a lot..you could do more damage if you have sex too soon. Also the cervix needs to close...takes some time. And you need to stop bleeding otherwise you will be at risk of infection xx

@lauren-goodman i felt fine quite quickly aswell. Im at the 4 month mark now where ive been told the last lot of stitches dissolve ive been a bit sore the last few days.

@lauren-goodman no didn't hurt felt amazing as through pregnancy It was uncomfortable😂 I dont know if you can do it if you havnt stopped bleeding🤷I wasn't bleeding though x
