I think you should go ahead and tell your mom, so she can be there when you take the test. Sure, she’ll be mad at first if the test is positive, but what’s done is done and you’ll need her by your side. If it’s negative, she’ll know you’re sexually active and make sure you don’t have a scare like this again. She’ll probably give you the sex talk if she hasn’t already. It’s for the best either way.
