You have milk. It is colostrum and everything the baby needs. They arent born hungry. You only need a few tablespoons. Did you say you wanted to breastfeed?

It takes a little bit for the milk to come in. Try to get him to nurse as much as possible. If you dont want to put the effort into breastfeeding, tell them that, tell them you want him to be formula fed

The baby is supposed to get it out. It is super thick and the baby has the jaws for it. Just because you squeeze them or pump and get nothing doesnt mean it isnt there. Let the baby latch 50 times a day if they need too.

If you want formula then just say im not going to breastfeed anymore, give me formula.

I’ve heard of babies starving this way .... be careful do what’s best for your child if you have to feed him formula that’s okay !

You can still pump and maybe your milk will come in soon! But in the meantime make sure your baby is eating ❤️

You’ll know if he’s eating enough by if he’s having enough wet diapers

Also if he’s fussing a lot he’s probably hungry

@babyjay27, keep trying, the colostrum should come out soon! Let them know you want to to try and pump. At the beginning I had trouble pumping because it was hurting a lot lol but then I was able to pump up to 5 oz for a week but then I quit pumping. Also i didn’t 🤱🏻 because I had trouble latching her. So that’s why I give her formula now.
