I found out today that i dont have a god daughter after all. Someone else gets the honor because she was promised a long time ago. But if she had been a boy, i could be the godmother... what kind of bullshit is this? I've been here since before she was even conceived! I knew before anyone else! I take her to appointments and im gonna be her fucking support person but I'm not good enough to be her godmother?! Ugh I'm livid and my hubby is asleep and have no one to rant to!!

@babydiehl2016 they are honestly. I love them but they dont understand parenthood and how serious it is.

@babydiehl2016 she does know im extremely hurt by it. She gave me her reasons and i let it be. I mean its not something worth fighting about I guess. It was just the insensitivity of it all. It was like oh someone else gets to do it now because its not this gender. Gender shouldn't even play a role in this decision! Thats what I'm mad about.

My first son his Godmom half stepping
His God dad is there.
My second son his God mom is there.
But his God dad half step.
I didn’t choose them but when i hit 22 i found out the real meaning of Godparents is when something happened to the parents they take responsibility of the kids.

@babydiehl2016 My problem with this also is that my husband is her godfather though. Ive never understood asking two people who are not together or committed to each other to be these roles. Like my kids only have a godmother. They don't have a godfather because my best friend isnt in a relationship.

I think it’s more about someone told you you was going to be God parents but instead gave someone else the title it’s more of someone gave you their word but switch up on you. I would be mad too because I’m looking forward and but instead got my hopes up.

@babydiehl2016 not only Catholics do it. I know what the purpose is and its a huge deal.
