@momma81417, I can’t do more than 3 minutes of crying. It absolutely breaks my heart but I’m trying to get him to learn that it’s okay to nap alone or at least be alone. He’s to the point now where more often than not, 3 minutes is enough and he falls asleep without me. If not though, I go back him and he falls asleep in my arms.
Here is what I do: I put him in his crib. Let him cry for 3 or so minutes, go back in and nurse him and my son calms down and falls asleep. Works every time.
@momma81417, have you tried to swaddle him before feeding? If he doesn’t like his arms confined just have his lower half swaddled until he falls asleep it will make putting him down without him waking up a lot easier my son was a pain when it came to that to lol
@momma81417, It’s okay hold him when he’s young because one day he’s not gonna want to be held💙 I’ve done the same thing during those times my son just wanted to be held and rocked I know it’s frustrating but you got this❣️ Try giving him some Tylenol that was my life savor for teething it helped ease his pain and sleep if he has a fever with it you can do Tylenol every 6 hours and Motrin every 4 💚 Just breath you got this!!(:
@shyshy2.3, he’s been teething too and he’s not a simple baby when put down.. I blame myself for holding him a lot honestly because when I put him down hardly ever does he not cry
