Took my hospital tour and found out there are alternatives to help with the pain! I'm going to try those before I do an epidural. Has anyone done them?

@mothermother every hospital is different. But at mine they offer nitrous oxide or iv drugs if you'd like before trying the epidural

Where I live they only will give you 3 of those and if the pain comes back then it’s too late to get the epidural and then of course have to feel the pain of labor. I right away choose the epidural.
