He was supposed to get off at 3..and now it's looking more like 7.
Can life give me a break So i can spend some quality time with my man? After last night..it would be nice to have a dinner with him and talk without having him fall asleep on me.

@hippie_momma_bb I wake up every day at 5..just to take a shower with him and get some sort of conversation from him. Otherwise..I have to deal with his cranky, tired ass after work.
@hippie_momma_bb I feel like men kind of disconnect sometimes after a kid. Like he's really excited for the baby..sometimes I feel like he just forgets about me. Like I'm here too. I get that I don't work and you have to put in more effort for both of us..but that doesn't mean that romance and basic communication skills need to stop.
@mollyfulton1996 it's completely understandable. I usually get to see my hubby for an hour and a half before he's sleep. That includes dinner and him taking a shower. Sometimes I just wanna have a conversation.
@hippie_momma_bb right?! I'm on bed rest rn..so I'm home alone 90% of the time. So I get selfish with him
@mollyfulton1996 it's hard not to get upset ans just be like "wake up and spend time with me" when you know he needs the sleep for work tomorrow.
@hippie_momma_bb girl I'm always crying. It's so hard sometimes. I know he is doing what he needs to do for our family..but by the time he gets home he is in a bad mood and is tired..goes to bed when we get to our room

@mollyfulton1996 my hubby and I work really hard on our communication skills. It'll get better. Try letting him sleep in on an off day (if he gets one) and then plan a movie night or something at home. Work on your relationship the best you can.
