I asked my doctor and she said it’s just a myth. My mom gets on to me all the time even after I told her what my doc said because I sit with my hands over my head a lot.

I don't believe in it. I always was having my hands over my head all the time. Im a shorty so I had to reach things the cord never wrapped around my sons neck

Although it could happen, I've never actually heard of it happening. People tried to scare me with that w| my first pregnancy 😕 I have done all types of stretching over my head, pulling/pushing, etc and my babies come out fine. Cord can wrap around babies neck without stretching over your head....

I’ve had my hands over my head many times throughout this pregnancy and the cord isn’t around her neck and my last pregnancy I never put my hands above my head and ended up having a stillbirth due to the cord being wrapped around her neck , it’s just a freak accident that happens

@tieasha yes my mom slapped my hands today because I was reaching over my head and that was the first time I've heard it . It actually worried me a little so I just wanted to get some opinions on it .

@teen_mommy_17, lol my mom said something to me today too while I was ordering food, and I just laughed at her and she said girl I don’t care what them doctors say, get your hands down...

@teen_mommy_17, thank you , yes I have been worried this whole pregnancy but the doctors have given me a bunch of ultrasounds to reassure me
