Why do you have alarms throughout the night?

I was wondering why you needed an alarm then I really the comments I also had a preemie and when we finally got home from the NICU I still had to wake her for feedings she slept through the night if I didn’t this time around is so different it’s crazy my son wake every 2.5-3hrs like it’s his job lol

I wake up on my own to pee or to check on all 3 girls. I'm a light sleeper

@dakodaj96 I never understood why they tell some to do that and others they don't. My son was born at 35 weeks, he was 4lbs15oz, no nicu stay and they never told me to wake him up. And my daughter was 5lbs 3.5oz and the hospital told me to wake her up but her pedi told me I didn't have to, that if she is hungry she will wake herself. I feel like it puts them on the schedule to wake up every few hours. My daughter sleeps from 11pm until 5-6am.

@me.mykids.and.i, last night I fed her around 9pm and she didn’t wake up again until 2am

@dakodaj96 I personally would let her wake up on her own to eat. Because then she is going to get used to waking up every 3 hours to eat. But that's just me lol. My baby has been sleeping like this since she was born.

@dakodaj96 how much did/does she weigh? My son was 4.15 and my daughter was 5.4. My daughter was in the 1 percentile at birth and now she is 6.10.

@dakodaj96 oh she isn't too tiny. I wonder why they are worried about her gaining. It's normal to lose weight but they gain it back. Well I hope it all works out for you both
