It can be like that for a couple of days. Your supply wont come in for a few days but you should keep just letting her latch. People who plan on breastfeeding get discouraged from the beginning when this happens without realizing that all they have right now is colostrum. Just pump while she sleeps to get your supply going but if you actually plan to breastfeed then let her keep feeding on the breast. Shes getting colostrum. At only two days old my last one did the same. After a week my supply kicked in and everything was fine. Shes a year old and we successfully breastfed for a full year. The nurses will most likely tell you to keep letting her latch on since you plan to breastfeed.

Believe it or not she is getting more by feeding on the breast rather than if you pump.

@heera ok so that is true it's not just a myth that the baby gets more by latching and keeps the supply pretty constant for the most part. Good to know lol when should my milk milk come in (roughly guessing)

No it’s not a myth lol. Happened with all of my babies. On average most people it takes a week. With my last one i got my full blown supply after 5-6 days and she was so content lol....don’t give up bcuz I promise you it’s worth it after just a few days. It may not seem like it now but trust me shes getting more when she’s latched on and feeding and thats whats guna help get your supply faster.

They say to squeeze your boob like a hamburger and shove it in your babies mouth. Idk if it will work or not as I couldn't breastfeed :(
