I’m tired of everyone giving me the impression that I should still be able to do everything I was a year ago without any issues. I’m not expecting for everyone to roll out the red carpet for me but people need to stop all comments on my bathroom times, how I (along with about half the plant) take an extra 5 minutes on break, or how I take a minute to sit at my desk. The janitor (a mother herself) made a big deal how I didn’t clean out the community trash can. Just because I was the last hired in my area doesn’t mean that any little issue was my fault either. I dealt with the same bs when I was working and pregnant!! God forbid I emptied my bladder!!!! Every single time I walked out the bathroom- “where were you? There were patients that needed help.”🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 Fuck off!! They had noooo empathy or consideration for me! After I gave birth I couldn’t bring myself to go back. It was horrible the way they treated me when I was pregnant!

@dazzlingmommy, only my boss and hr knows that I’m not coming back after baby. I’ve had comments on my bathroom breaks, eye rolls about my work restrictions, and since I still manage to out due my coworkers in my positions that I’m always asked to pick up the slack. I’m not looking forward to the comments when it becomes known that I’m leaving and not coming back

@emilyinsd, Yesss!! Sounds just like the ladies I worked with smdh!! I know what you’re going through! Once you leave, you’re gonna feel GREAT cuz you won’t have to deal with that anymore. It literally felt like a weight lifted off my chest when I left!! It just gets me so mad cuz they don’t know how much stress and pressure they put on you and that’s not good for the baby!

@dazzlingmommy, I’m leaving earlier than originally planned too. Partly because of everyone’s comments but also because it’s getting more and more difficult to do my job. We are lucky enough to now be in a financial spot where I can afford to stay at home for awhile. After I’m ready to work again, I’ll go back to my old job and lay guidelines down so I can be a mom that leaves the house now and then for work.
