Is there anybody here that has the birth control shot or the iud? What do you think about it?

I have the paraguard iud and I really like it

I had Paragaurd for 9 years and never had an issue. I took it out a few years ago to try for my second son and got pregnant in the first month trying, legit two weeks after taking it out!

I tried the Depo shot but I hated it. I gained about 20 lbs on it. It basically tricks your body into thinking you’re pregnant.

my IUD fell out lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ after seven months but it worked out bec i wanted another baby lol

I had mirena IUD and liked it. My periods went away initially then came back after about 9 or 10 months but were super light. Im thinking that is what I'll go back on after baby.

I have the mirena and I like it so far no problems

I have the iud and I don’t advise it I’ve been bleeding on and off for 5 months I’m about to take mine out

I had depo twice. The first time was right after my oldest was born for two years and I loved it. No periods, and no side effects! The second time was for like 6 months after my second was born and I hated it. It made my hair fall out and I gained a bunch of weight. I stopped getting it after my second shot.

I got the BC depo shot and my body reacted horribly to it . I’m glad I stopped it but you after while any type of BC will harm your body .

I had the mirena and I loved it.
