Barely sleeping :/ overwhelmed with the thought of having a crying baby i just pushed out of me covered in slime and blood, attached to the umbilical cord placed on my chest, its really disturbing me. I wish I could just close my eyes and not see it. I feel so freaked out by the placenta and stuff. Everyone else seems to think seeing your baby come out is some kind of miracle but id honestly rather not have that as the first memory of my kid. I would love it if it was possible to just knock me out and remove this baby but I guess this is the reality motherhood is not pretty.

I think you’ll be so focused on your baby that the rest will go unnoticed :)

I will tell you that when the time actually comes, you won’t even notice any of that gross stuff. I am incredibly squeamish when it comes to any type of bodily fluid but when my girl came out, I was so busy crying and holding onto her, I didn’t notice the placenta or the blood or any other kind of liquid. There is nothing quite like it.

I didn't look down at all when I started pushing just try and do the same girl, also I think you will feel different once the baby is actually born.
