Have any mums on here had c sections? If so, did anyone manage to eventually get a flatter stomach? Also, will the overhang eventually go? I had a emergency c section 3 weeks ago and I can see my stomach is definitely flattening but there's still a bit of an overhang. Worried it's going to stay there and it's really getting me down as I was very slim before pregnancy. My stretch marks don't help matters either. I sound selfish as it's where my baby girl grew :(

I had an emergancy c section 6 weeks ago my belly has gone down but I have the over hang🤢it can go but I think we just need to exercise and tighten our belly up. I was really slim before and now hate my belly with the flab/over hang and stretch marks😣xx

@abbyrose1997x, is it your first baby ? It's horrible isn't it :( I never used to be able to see my scar if I looked in the mirror where as now I can but when I turn to the side, there's still an overhang :( do you feel fully recovered after 6 weeks? X

I haven't had one but my sister did she was on the bigger side but she has to have a tummy tuck because they made her have bad over hang xxx

@lauren-goodman yeah my first baby is it yours? I still cant see mine if I look forward I have to lift my belly up😂if I turn to the side there's an over hang really bad i cant stand it! And yeah I feel really good do you?x

As much as I’d love to say it goes nearly 2 years since I had Amelia with a c section and there’s a little over hang it’s not bad it’s just skin, which I’m finding so difficult to get rid 😩

A year on and i still have an awful overhang. Very hard to get rid of. I have dieted or exercised though. Need to do that ready for summer xx

@abbyrose1997x, it can sometimes hurt but I'm able to bend down and stuff now and do bits and bobs round the house but I'm just extra careful. Nope, I've just been out for walks too. Xx
