New here! I have an issue with my 5 year old and lying. We also think she may be on the spectrum but also think we should wait untik she gets to school and see what her teachers say.

Talk to her doctor about it don't wait until she starts school, he can have her evaluated to see if there needs to be further testing, maybe he can even recommend behavioral therapy if the lying is that bad.

A very good friend of mine, who I’m hanging out with now, our son’s are in the third grade and 8 years old. He was just evaluated because of his behavior. He’s extremely bright,can state facts you would never imagine a kid would know. But his behavior sucks. He was expelled from school and his mom found out that he’s on very beginning stages of aspergers. You should have your daughter checked out!

They see a therapist, and one thing his mom always complains about are his lies. He’s constantly making things up.
