So I put my son down last night in a overnight huggie with some desitin because he had a mild rash and it wasn't too bad. So then this morning I woke up and it was like this. What is wrong and what can I do?

Omg poor baby, whenever my daughter gets diaper rash, I try to wash her bum every time she pees and poops. I let her bum breathe as well, and I apply A&D ointment since I saw that desitin (for me) made it worse on her

@scx, I have some a&d ointment left from when he was healing from his circumcision. I'll try that when I get home tonight since I'm at an overnight visitation with his father .

When my kids have gotten rashes i let their bootys breath, also a warm bath with some baby wash in it usually helps calm them. I also use corn starch powder.

Bag balm is better then any diaper rash cream you're going to find, I can promise that!! But that honestly looks like a yeast infection to me. Try bag balm, it's not real expensive and the containers last forever, if that don't work, take him to the doctor.

I use cornstarch and it clears my daughters rashes up.
