This is a nightmare.. He wasn’t even in there but an hour and wakes up hysterically crying for absolutely no reason and it has literally taken over an hour just to calm him down enough to lay back down with him in our bed/ the couch. He acts like he is in pain with the type of cry/ whine, and I’m at a loss b cause he has absolutely no symptoms other than the crying. I hope this isn’t his ears becoming infected again, otherwise they just need to put tubes back in and be fucking done with it. I have no idea how to solve this issue. I desperately need him in his own bed ASAP, I can’t sleep as it is and definitely not with a 2 year old and grown man in a queen sized bed.

I have a bed next to ours and I lay my daughter down in it so she can get used to sleeping alone .. I’m planning on moving her into her room soon

I don’t just want to put her in a room alone I’m trying to get her used to it slowly and easily that way she knows it’s okay to sleep alone in her own room

@alanasmommy81815, I thought about doing that but figured he would get too used to that and it would be better to just bite the bullet and try to get him in his own room altogether. Baby is due June 4th so I’d really like to have them separate. Jax in his own room down the hall and baby sleeping in the bassinet in our room for a few months. I am NOT cosleeping with this child, never ever ever ever ever again 😅

I don't know but I know that my bed holds up to five people and still having to move around

@theinkedmommy, yeah, I just wonder if he’s got an ear infection again because he was crying earlier and completely inconsolable before we even attempted bed time. That’s usually the tell-tale sign with him bc he never exhibits any other symptoms. Gave him Tylenol though so it must’ve helped because he stopped for the time being. @sarahlee2019, damn girl, our bed barely fits us two and there definitely isn’t much room to be moving around.

@kaysie0490, I wondered about that too. It would explain it except for the fact that he was crying like that way before we even attempted bed time and completely inconsolable. Then he calmed down and fell asleep, got him to bed and it happened again. I may take him in to have his ears checked Monday just to rule that out since he’s always had issues with them.

@sumria, he’s got all of his teeth except the second row of molars but I’m not too sure when they start coming in. Tylenol seemed to help though, he and his daddy slept on the couch and he didn’t wake back up.

Yea I'd rule out ears and teeth. But my sons night terrors started like that but he was only 6 months old. My brother uses malatonin on all his kids so that's also an option if he's not just sick or teething. I hope your little guy feels better soon.
