Does any mommies have game ideas that I can do with ava? I've found myself putting her in front of the tv more and more and I feel bad. She can't quite sit up by herself yet so we've been practicing that but her attention span is rather short and needs to change activities

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

I did the same thing and realized one day needed to change it. I just played with my daughter. Sang to her. Read. Played with her toys with her. She loved patty cake. Still does😂

@avasmommy808 You can always go to the YMCA and walk around, she may like tummy time more if you are with her, if not let her lay on you and do tummy time.

@jmilanes3 same here 😂😂she's lasting longer but it takes her a minute to calm back down, sometimes I have to stand up with her and get her away from the floor

@beemommyof3 @jmilanes3 @starienite I can't take walks right now, it's been below freezing here lately. It's just a little difficult to find things to do with her since she can't sit up yet and she hates tummy time and also making no improvements so far to start crawling any time soon

Go on walks if you can, read a book, I play peekaboo with a blanket. Lol.

Turn the t.v. off. It can overstimulate. Read to her, crawl around on the floor, play with toys, etc. Take walks, exercise, peekaboo.
