@my_fave_5, literally a little plastic thing that’s put over your nipple my baby was tongue tied & was born really tiny so she was having a really hard time latching on but the nipple shield help pull my nipple out & she has been able to stay latched. Other moms use it so it doesn’t hurt as much when bf

@asandovaln, what brand did you get ? I’m looking into getting ones in case my baby has trouble so i have them on hand

@kaela3, the Medela kind the lactation consultant at the hospital actually provided it for me but I went out & bought a couple more myself they have them at target
